This Thing Jing: A Fun Farmyard Adventure

Welcome to Jing!

Welcome to Jing!

Jing has been quietly sleeping in a folder since 2009. That's right—this little character has been waiting for many years to make his debut.

Over the years, I revisited his story several times. Ideas would come and go, pages would be rewritten, and Jing would patiently wait for the right moment. Looking back, I can see that some things unfold in their own season. Why did it take this long? I honestly don't know. But I do believe that every creative project has its appointed time.

As the years passed, the vision for Jing became clearer. One of the biggest breakthroughs came through AI-assisted design tools, which helped transform the scenes I had imagined for so long into colorful farmyard backgrounds. Suddenly, the world where Jing belonged began to take shape. The haystacks, the fields, the playful atmosphere—all the pieces started coming together.

Today, on the first day of Summer 2026, Jing is finally being introduced to the world.

What began as a simple idea tucked away in a folder has grown into a children's story designed to bring smiles, laughter, rhythm, and learning to young readers. My hope is that children will enjoy following Jing's adventures, guessing where he is hiding, and discovering the joy of reading through rhyme and play.

Sometimes dreams take longer than we expect. Sometimes creative ideas need time to grow. And sometimes a little character waits patiently for seventeen years before stepping into the spotlight.

Today, Jing's journey begins.

Welcome to Jing's world.
